Day 9: Universal Studios Hollywood

The plan for today was to go to Universal Studios Hollywood, so we left the house at 10 o'clock and drove towards the Universal Studios. Before we went there, Evelyn Brett and I made a quick stop at El Mercado, which is very small spanish shopping centre. Evelyn bought me and herself a long black dress, which was very kind of her! We will need this dress tomorrow, because we are going to Hollywood tomorrow to celebrate the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Then we headed towards the Univerisal Studios. When we arrived at the park we first did the Jurassic Park ride and afterwards the Revenge of the Mummy ride, which were both a lot of fun! Then we went into the Transformers 3D ride, which was definitely the best ride from the whole theme park. Furthermore we also went into the Despicable Me Minion mayhem and the The Simpson side and by then we had finished all the rides. We also went to a couple of shows, including the WaterWorld show, Shrek 4-D and the Universal's Animal Actors. I just loved all of them, especially the Water World show. But the nicest thing was, is that Evelyn works at the Universal Studios so by showing her pass, all the employees would give us entrance to the fast lines. First we thought that this would not always work, however it turned out the other way. We got to use the pass for every single ride and show, so by the end of the day around 6 we had done the whole themepark, including the Studio tour. The Studio Tour was a tour through the stages and sets of the Hollywood Universal Studios, thus we chould actually see the decors of movies and how movies were made. This was really interesting and exciting! In general, the day at Universal Studios had been a lot of fun and Brett and I just loved Evelyn today, since we could go, without wating, in every single ride and show. The park closed at 6 so we went to another store to get some make up for tomorrow and we had a look at the Halloween store next to it. I think it is amazing to see all these Halloween stuff and decoration, that will scare you to death. Afterwards Kevin called us and Evelyn, Kevin and I had a small dinner at a restaurant, which was very nice.
