This morning we went to San Diego to visit the USS Midway Museum, which is on board of one of America’s longest-serving aircraft carriers. Guido and I took a tour on this ship for about 3 hours. We were flabbergasted. The ship is so enormous and so much took place on this ship that it was just amazing to have a tour on this aircraft carrier. When the tour was done Guido and I went for a lunch and walked around in downtown San Diego, what kind of disappointed us. Despite the city's wonderful appearance and beautiful buildings, there is not much to do in downtown San Diego, so we already left the city after 45 minutes. Then we drove of to Laguna beach, which is a very wealthy area with lovely, large houses and a magnificent beach. A lot of people take pictures over there, because the beach looks so nice. The sun went down and we took a walk on the beach, which I will express in one word: Gorgeous. Afterwards the shuttlebus brought us back to our car and we drove to a restaurant on top of a mountain in Yorba. We had dinner on a table place next to the window of the restaurant trough which we could see the entire city, with all the lights shining in the dark. It was a magnificent view! Again, this was a really nice day. Tomorrow I will leave the hotel and meet my host family at the office, exciting!
