This morning was different compared to all the other mornings. This morning was my last morning in California. I woke up at 8 and had a shower. Then Evelyn and I went to have breakfast in another town. It would be the last time to get to know more about each other and our cultures. Our conversation covered the differences between the US and the Netherlands, also we talked about our personal experiences. The breakfast was really nice. When we got home I started to pack my bags and Evelyn made me a couple of containers with fruit and cucumber for during my flight. At 11:30 we left the house and headed towards the airport. It was not so busy at the airport, so after just a few minutes I had already checked in. Now it was really time to say goodbye and so we did. I got trough the security and afterwards I did a did some shopping and relaxed in one of the lounges. While I was sitting there I thought about all the things I have done and seen the last 2 weeks and a smile covered my face. I had an amazing internship, which is mostly due to all the effort of my hostfamily and all the other people I have met. They, especially Kevin and Evelyn, have been so caring, friendly and enthusiastic that I enjoyed every moment of my time in LA. In addition, I did so many things; a bus tour through Hollywood and it's surroundings, visiting a US Navy ship, Universal Studious, the Day of the Death, Venice beach, sightseeing in several towns and much more, that I was never bored at all. It was just an amazing expierience! Thankyou!
