Day 8: Shopping

My day started with cereal and tea on the patio outside. It was very nice and quiet outside so I just sat there for a while with Evelyn. Then she took me to Santa Anita, which is a huge shopping mall. Everytime we go somewhere, the mountains just amaze me. They look so nice that it just seems like I look at a picture all the time. Evelyn and I had a great time at the mall. We did some shopping and I tried dippin dots, which is cream that is dripped as a liquid into liquid nitrogen, which freezes it in drip form instantaneously like little balls. It is like eating snowflakes, it is really tiny and it sticks to your tongue. After a couple of hours we went to the Cheesecake Factory to have lunch and it was delicious. Then we went back home again to just sit outside and relax again. We ordered tickets to go to the Universal studios tomorrow and afterwards we watched part of a movie called The Hills Have Eyes.
